Russell for Bonifay City Council Seat 2

Hi, my name is James Russell. I am actively running for Bonifay City Council Seat 2.

I am owner/ president of Moonlight Auto and Diesel Repair, Inc. I moved to Bonifay in 2017 and went to work for Eastern Diesel and Auto Wrecker Service where I took pride in helping run a local family-owned business until taking over Moonlight.

My family is from Bonifay, dating back to my great-grandparents. So when saying I live in Bonifay, it kind of hits differently. Just knowing that this is the town I want to raise my kids, and hopefully one day they raise theirs here as well. Just knowing that my family has history in this great town makes me want to be a part of history in helping Bonifay grow and to see that it lasts so my great-grandchildren and everyone else’s grandchildren can stand proud and say, “I’m from Bonifay.†

I am looking forward to hopefully working side-by-side with the men and women in the city and county for what’s best for our children in the future as we seek what’s better for our city here and now.
