HOLMES COUNTY – According to Florida Highway Patrol a Holmes County School bus was struck by a Fed-Ex truck on Highway 181 on Friday, August 13.
The Fed-Ex truck was driving north on Highway 181 where the bus was at a complete stop letting children
off. The driver of the Fed-Ex truck failed to observe the stopped
school bus when the front right of the truck struck the right rear of the bus. There were no injuries to the 30 children aboard the bus. It is not known if alcohol was a factor in the accident.
