BONIFAY – Holmes County High School hosted their annual Veterans Day ceremonies on Thursday, November 11.
Guest speaker and veteran Dr. Huy Nguyen spoke at the event, and cadets in the JROTC program led the ceremonies which included, posting of the colors, representation of each branch of the Armed Forces flags and the POW/MIA flag, and a rifle demonstration.
The story of the “Ragged Old Flag” was told as cadets flew Old Glory. The event also featured the “Missing Man Table.” which represents those who did not come home.
