HOLMES COUNTY – Poplar Springs High School and Ponce de Leon High School both hosted ceremonies to honor veterans on Nov. 11.
Students read poems, sang songs, and heard speeches from guest speakers Eric Gillis at PDLHS and Reverend Kent Lampp at PSHS.
Several were on hand for the events and were recognized during the services.
