Three are behind bars after an unassigned tag lead to the discovery of methamphetamines.
A deputy with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for attaching a tag that was not assigned to the vehicle. HCSO made contact with the occupants of the vehicle, identified as Danny Joseph, Jeffrey Ward and Theresa Renfroe. The driver, Joseph, gave consent for a search of the vehicle.
A search of Renfroe’s purse found a plastic baggie and a black container both containing methamphetamine. The search of Ward’s suitcase found a glass pipe containing methamphetamine.
All three occupants were arrested. Joseph is charged with attaching tag not assigned, Renfroe and Ward are charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
At the jail, a search of Renfroe’s person revealed another plastic baggie containing methamphetamine.
