A Holmes County man is behind bars after an investigation leads to lewd and lascivious charges.
The charges came after a child revealed that James Hickey had been performing sexual acts on her. The child was interviewed by Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Child Protection Team where she revealed detailed descriptions of lewd acts performed by Hickey.
Hickey was interviewed by investigators where probable cause was obtained, and an arrest warrant was secured.
Hickey is charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition and sexual battery on a child under 12.
