An Alabama man is facing gun charges after a traffic stop on March 29, in Esto.

A Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy initiated a traffic stop for speeding on Highway 79 of a silver Jeep driven by William Underwood of Alabaster, Alabama.

According to HCSO, Underwood advised he did not have a valid drivers license, that he had marijuana and a firearm in the vehicle that belonged to him.

A search of the vehicle located a bag of marijuana and a loaded pistol lying in the floorboard of the Jeep.
