An Alabama man is behind bars after a traffic stop on April 14.
The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 79 for a traffic infraction. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Trevis Mallard of Hartford, Alabama who had an outstanding warrant out of Houston County, Alabama.
HCSO deputies conducted a search of Mallard’s vehicle and found methamphetamine in the center console. According to HCSO, Mallard admitted to the drugs being his.
Mallard is charged with possession of methamphetamine and the out of state warrant.
