Southern Lights talent competition auditions wrap up

Southern Lights Productions is in its fifth year helping talented people reach new heights with this year shaping up to be the biggest talent event we’ve seen yet. This year there will be more prizes than ever from up to $10,000, recording deals, studio time, Chipola scholarships, a video deal and even the audience choice award. The audition period concludes May 31 so there are only a few days left for people to submit their audition videos.

This year, the live event will once again be hosted by Chipola College in Marianna. Anyone with a family friendly talent in South Alabama, South Georgia and Northwest Florida is encouraged to enter this year’s event. All family friendly talent is welcome from singers, musicians, songwriters, magicians, comedians, etc. This is the opportunity you’ve been looking for. Hosted by Charlie Dykes and executed by a volunteer board of community supporters, Southern Lights was launched in 2019 as a platform for individuals passionate about performing arts and entertainment who reside in small towns and rural communities of our region. This year in conjunction with Chipola College, Jackson County TDC, and many other sponsors, Southern Lights is bringing back this incredible event and giving away over $18,000 in cash and prizes.
