Waukesha Way announced that they have awarded a $1,000 mini-grant to the Bonifay Woman’s Club for the work on their clubhouse, located at 212 E Virginia Ave. The grant will be used for landscaping updates around the historic clubhouse. The improvements include planting low-maintenance, native plants, refreshing walkways, and adding outdoor seating.

“Waukesha Way’s mission is to invest in our community in ways that make a lasting impact,” said Mary E. Medina, a board member of Waukesha Way. “We are excited to support the Bonifay Woman’s Club in their efforts to improve their clubhouse grounds, as this project will benefit both the club and the greater community. Their venue is a valuable resource, and these updates will ensure it remains a welcoming space for years to come.”

Kelley McKee, President of the Bonifay Woman’s Club, expressed her gratitude for the grant, stating, “We are honored to receive this mini-grant from Waukesha Way. Our clubhouse has served the community for generations, and these landscaping improvements will help us continue to offer a beautiful, inviting space for all who use it. We look forward to working on this project and seeing the positive impact it will have on our members and the community.”
