HCSO makes DUI arrest at Lake Cassidy

Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies responded to a disturbance at Lake Cassidy May 26. According to the HCSO, upon the deputies arrival it was determined that Shane Burnsed of Punta Gorda, Florida, was allegedly intoxicated, had backed into a vehicle, and attempted to flee the scene before being stopped by bystanders. As reported by the HCSO, Burnsed showed clear signs of impairment and refused both field sobriety exercises and a breath test. He was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
