The Bonifay Police Department (BPD) announced the installation of a Narcan dispensary in the police department lobby. Narcan, generic name Naloxone, is a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. The dispensary, provided by PanCare, is accessible to everyone and free of charge. BPD said in a social media post that it is because of organizations like PanCare in the community that they are able to make the City of Bonifay a safer place.
