Motorcycle rider killed in collision with pickup truck 

A 45-year-old woman from Hartford, Ala., died after a head-on collision with a pickup truck in Holmes County on Friday, April 12.

The wreck happened on State Road 79 at 6 a.m. The truck was driven by a 29-year-old man from Bonifay and going southbound, while the motorcycle was going northbound.

“At that time, the pickup truck traveled into the northbound lane,” a news release from the Florida Highway PAtrol said. “The truck’s front collided with the front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle became impaled into the front of the truck, causing the motorcycle rider to be ejected from the motorcycle.”
