On Wednesday, January 4, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigators executed a search warrant at a residence on Gracey Pond Lane in Bonifay.
Contact was made with Charles Jones, who is a registered sex offender. Jones was taken into custody for failure to register his email and social media accounts as required by law.
During a search of his camper, investigators located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Investigators also discovered an unregistered cellular phone. Jones was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
