Holmes County Farm Bureau held its annual meeting on Thursday, March 19 at the Holmes County High School cafeteria, welcoming members and guests for an evening of fellowship, raffle prizes, and a meal provided by the National Grazing Lands Coalition. Attendees heard from guest Maddie Campbell of the Florida Farm Bureau Federation, and from Ashley McDonald of the National Grazing Lands Coalition.

During the meeting, the “This Farm CARES” award was presented to O & L Farms LLC of Bonifay, owned by Arthur and Linda Little, in recognition of their commitment to environmental stewardship. The honor is awarded annually to farmers and ranchers who demonstrate exemplary efforts to protect Florida’s natural resources through the implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs).

The evening closed with gratitude for the farmers, ranchers, and community partners who continue to strengthen agriculture across Holmes County.
