Ponce de Leon celebrated the opening of its new McDonald’s with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony on Friday, March 20, highlighted by a special appearance from TikTok personality Justin Nunley. The restaurant is located at 2920 FL-81 in Ponce de Leon, and is attached to the recently opened Pilot truck stop. Community members enjoyed raffle drawings, remarks from owner/operator Jacob Thorley of Emerald Arches, and a meet‑and‑greet with Nunley, who is a native of DeFuniak Springs. As part of the festivities, Emerald Arches presented a $5,000 check to representatives of the Pensacola based Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida, underscoring the company’s commitment to supporting local communities and charitable initiatives.
