The Holmes County High School baseball team secured a 3-1 victory over defending state champion Jay High School, completing a series sweep and advancing to the Rural State Semifinals.
With the win, the Blue Devils improved their season record to 24-4 and are expected to enter the Final Four as the top seed. Holmes County is projected to face Port St. Joe in the semifinal round, which will take place in Fort Myers.
