On December 20, investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division, assisted by the Bonifay Police Department, arrested Mary Mason of Shalimar following an undercover narcotics operation.
During the operation, Mason traveled to Bonifay and sold approximately eight grams of methamphetamine to an undercover operative. As a result of the investigation, Mason was taken into custody and charged with sale of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
Investigators also determined Mason had outstanding warrants out of Okaloosa County for drug-related offenses, which were confirmed at the time of her arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office continues to work with local and regional law enforcement partners to combat the distribution of illegal narcotics within Holmes County.
