Three Holmes County High School lifters recently represented the Blue Devils at the Florida High School Athletic Association State Weightlifting Championships, with senior Ean Bearden earning second overall in the 183‑pound weight class. Seniors Cuy Holley and junior Kasey Slay also qualified for the state competition, representing Holmes County alongside Bearden. Bearden (pictured above) was also recently awarded the 2026 Holmes County Sheriff Daniel Brownell Memorial Scholarship, recognizing his dedication and leadership both in athletics and academics.
