A Ponce de Leon man is behind bars after a probation inspection turns up 15 pounds of marijuana.
Deputies and investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office accompanied local probation officers to inspect the home of probationer Ferrell English on June 6.
English consented to a search of his home which produced a usable amount of methamphetamine, a hypodermic syringe, several cut straws,used baggies, and a glass pipe, according to HCSO.
English also admitted to having marijuana and marijuana plants in a separate area of the property, which led investigators to more than 15 pounds of marijuana.
English is charged with possession of marijuana over 20 grams with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
