Poplar Springs High School is welcoming a new principal. Beverly Sallas, former Assistant Principal from the Bonifay K-8, will be taking over as PSHS principal.
The current principal, Laura Watford, retired after years of service to Poplar Springs. “I want to
express my gratitude for the support I received as principal,” said Watford. “I have met many
awesome students, supportive parents, and exceptional faculty and staff during my service at
PS.”
Sallas has been an employee of Holmes District Schools for over 20 years. “Words cannot
describe how excited I am to begin this new adventure,” said Sallas. “I look forward to making
many memories with my new Poplar Springs Family. Go Atomics!”
