On Sept. 7, the Holmes County High School JROTC program held an award/promotion ceremony to recognize key leadership positions. Cadets were also recognized for being on extracurricular teams, promoted cadets that graduated JCLC, promoted cadets that passed their rank test to private, and rewarded cadets with new staff positions.  

In the Blue Devil Battalion 1st platoon the cadets that received a leadership arc for being put in a leadership position include cadets James Capers, Breayanna Clayton, Hannah Guilford, Harley Heaslet, Caleb Johnson and Colton Jones.  

Cadets that were recognized for being on the robotic team were Trenton Austin, Michael Avila, Gage Nicholson and Riley Thomas.

Cadets that received recognition for making the raider team were Hannah Guilford, Harley Heaslet, Gage Nicholson, and Riley Thomas.  

Cadets that were recognized for the rifle team were Makenzie Christenson, Colton Jones and Caleb Johnson. 

Cadets that graduated JCLC summer camp and received a promotion and job in the Blue Devil staff were Colton Jones and Gage Nicholson.  

Cadets that received their private stripes for passing their rank test were Trenton Austin, Makenzie Christenson and Hannah Guilford.  

Cadet Colton Jones received the position as the Blue Devil Battalion’s Intelligence and Security Officer.

In the Blue Devil Battalion 2nd platoon the cadets that received a leadership arc for being put in a leadership position include cadets Emelia Bahillo, Kole Cooper, George Hauss, Hannah Hudson, Cassie Ivey, Byron Lamb, and Jenna Mims. 

Cadets that were recognized for being on the Robotic team was Byron Lamb, Jenna Mims and Max Lawlor.  Cadets that received recognition for making the raider team were Bryon Lamb. 

Cadets that graduated JCLC summer camp and received a promotion and job in the Blue Devil staff were Max Lawlor and Jenna Mims. Cadet Jenna Mims received the position as the Blue Devil Battalion’s Command Sergeant Major.

 In the Blue Devil Battalion 3rd platoon the cadets that received a leadership arc for being put in a leadership position include cadets Jordan Bradley, Christopher Crider Lacee Music, Gracie Snowden, and Rabecca Snowden.  

Cadets that received recognition for making the raider team were Christopher Crider, Carley Raines, Gracie Snowden, Wesley Stanley, and Brian Worley. Cadets that were recognized for the Rifle team were Brian Worley. 

Cadets that graduated JCLC summer camp and received a promotion and job in the Blue Devil staff were Carley Raines, Rabecca Snowden, Wesley Stanley and Brian Worley. Cadet Rabecca Snowden received the position as the Blue Devil Battalion’s public affairs officer and Brian Worley received the position as the Blue Devil Battalion’s operation and training officer.

In the Blue Devil Battalion 4th platoon the cadets that received a leadership arc for being put in a leadership position include cadets Caleb Blankenship, Tristen Caraway, Darren Lawlor, Hunter Presley, Allison Reynolds, and Joshua Treadway.  

Cadets that received recognition for making the raider team were Caleb Blankenship, Garrison Folds, Hunter Presley, Allison Reynolds, and Joshua Treadway. Cadets that graduated JCLC summer camp and received a promotion and job in the Blue Devil staff were Tristen Caraway, Garrison Folds, Hunter Presley and Allison Reynolds. 

Cadet Garrison Folds received the position as the Blue Devil Battalion’s Adjutant.  Cadet Allison Reynolds remains the Blue Devils Battalion Executive Officer. 

In the Blue Devil Battalion 6th platoon the cadets that received a leadership arc for being put in a leadership position include cadets Rick Adams, Mackenzie Brown, Antonio Cardona, Christina Kilgore, Noah Mason, Sophia Pollard Autumn Poulson and Robert Tart. 

Cadets that were recognized for being on the Robotic team was Noah Mason.  Cadets that received recognition for making the raider team were Rick Adams, Christina Kilgore, Noah Mason, Autumn Poulson, and Robert Tart. 

Cadets that were recognized for the rifle team were Sophia Pollard, Autumn Poulson and Robert Tart. Cadets that graduated JCLC summer camp and received a promotion and job in the Blue Devil staff were Sophia Pollard and Autumn Poulson. 

Cadet Autumn Poulson remains the Blue Devil Battalion’s commander.
