Kids dashed to pick up candy from the ground. People relaxed in lawn chairs on the sidewalks. Horse riders, local law enforcement, first responders, and business representatives rode and drove down the street.

Such were sights seen on Friday, Oct. 6, in Bonifay during the 79th annual Northwest Florida Championship Rodeo Parade.

Rodeo events continue Friday night and Saturday, including another parade on Saturday at 1 p.m.
