Scholarships awarded to Tyler’s Tournament winners

Dogwood Lakes Golf Course and the Erickson family put on their annual event, “Tyler’s Timeless Tournament.” Every year the tournament hosts a fundraiser in honor of Tyler Erickson, son of county commissioner Clint Erickson’s. The tournament aims to help students in their higher educational goals and their future. This year’s fundraiser was able to raise enough money to award five high school students a scholarship. Three of those students are from Holmes County High School, Savannah Goodman, Maycee R Flanary, and Talon Davis. Hunter Weimorts and Luke Jackson, the two other students awarded the scholarship, are from Ponce De Leon High School. Dogwood Lakes congratulated these Holmes County Golf Team seniors who received $2,000 a piece for the Tyler Erickson Memorial Golf Scholarship. All together the fundraiser raised a total of $10,000 to assist students on their educational journey.
