Powell’s Pasture was filled with hundreds as American Idol season 20 winner, Noah Thompson, headlined at the Bonifay Rodeo Dance.
Thompson says the area reminded him of his home in East Kentucky.
‘This place is awesome,’ said Thompson. ‘It’s country and welcoming and very much like home. It is not what I was expecting, I expected to see palm trees and we are in a pasture. It is awesome!’
Powell Productions Owner Jason Powell says he was happy to get not only one American Idol contestant but two.
‘Getting Colin Stough and Noah Thompson was a big win for the rodeo dance,’ said Powell. ‘We are excited to have up and coming artists come to our little corner of Florida.’
Dawn Rizer with Arize Entertainment negotiated and secured the contracts for both Stough and Thompson to headline at the event.
Thompson said they had a great time.
‘We would love to come back, if they will have us,’ said Thompson.
