Staff report
Due to a possible bid challenge, the Vernon City Council has moved to re-advertise work for the Yellow Jacket Drive Reconstruction Project.
Vernon was approved for a SCOP (Small County Outreach Program) grant totalling $110,149 but the lowest bidder came in over the expected amount, requiring the city to request additional funds. Construction, engineering and inspection costs have risen since the original grant was approved.
The new grant amount was approved by SCOP and can be held until the rebid is complete.
The city will begin the re-advertise process in the next few weeks.
