Two arrested on drug charges after probation search in Holmes County

Two individuals were taken into custody on multiple drug-related charges following a joint operation conducted by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office and State Probation officers at a residence on Gavin Road, according to an official release from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office.

On July 28, investigators and probation officers conducted a probationary search at the home after receiving credible information about suspected illegal drug activity. The occupants of the residence, identified as Keaghan Paul and Justin Blankenship, were both on active probation.

During the initial search, deputies discovered methamphetamine inside the home. Investigators secured the scene and obtained a search warrant to further inspect the premises. Upon execution of the warrant, additional methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia were located.

As a result, both Paul and Blankenship were arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Violation of Probation. They were transported to the Holmes County Jail.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, according to authorities.
