The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday afternoon that investigators, working alongside officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, located the body of Zachary Wilson approximately a quarter mile into the woods near Ponce de Leon Springs.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, there are no indications of foul play in Wilson’s death. Authorities say his family has been notified of the discovery.
In a statement, the Sheriff’s Office emphasized that, out of respect for the family, no further details will be released at this time. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wilson family during this very difficult time,” the release read.
