According to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, arrests have been made in connection with a burglary reported on Johnson Road in Holmes County.
Deputies responded to the burglary report in October 2025, and the case was subsequently assigned to an investigator with the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. In January 2026, the HCSO investigator was contacted by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office after possible suspects connected to the case were identified.
Washington County deputies later obtained and executed a search warrant at a residence within their jurisdiction, where property reported stolen from the Johnson Road burglary was located and recovered.
Following interviews with the suspects and additional investigation, HCSO investigators obtained arrest warrants for Jeremy Davis, of Panama City, and Terry Brady, of Chipley. Both individuals have been charged with Burglary and Grand Theft.
Authorities reported that Davis and Brady are currently in custody and awaiting extradition to Holmes County.
Sheriff John Tate thanked the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for its assistance in the case, stating that the investigation underscores the importance of cooperation between law enforcement agencies in recovering stolen property and holding those responsible accountable.
