The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is actively searching for Clayton Thompson, who is wanted for domestic violence battery following a disturbance last night on Irene Street.
Deputies responded to a call regarding a domestic incident and spoke with a victim who reported that Thompson, allegedly intoxicated at the time, pushed and struck them during a verbal altercation. According to the HCSO, Thompson fled the scene on foot before deputies arrived. A K9 unit was deployed but was unable to locate him.
Law enforcement has since increased its presence in the Main Street area of Ponce de Leon, where Thompson was reportedly last seen. The public is urged to avoid the area and report any information about his whereabouts to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office at 850-547-3681.
