A donation campaign at Bonifay K-8 School aimed to raise $600 for Jeep Sullivan’s Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures.
The project-done by donating $2 for an American flag to be placed on the front lawns of the school in honor of military veterans-more than doubled that goal.
The school collected $1,2300.
The FLAG the Front project was sponsored by the Jr. Beta Club. They surpassed their initial goal of 300 flags and ended up with 600 flags.
Proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior initiative, which takes injured former service members fishing and hunting.
