Two year old in critical condition after being struck by car

A round sign with the state of florida on it.

A two-year-old child is in critical condition at a local hospital after being struck by a car on October 10.

According to FHP, a red sedan, driven by a Bonifay woman, was traveling east on West McClane Street in Noma approaching Main Street around 5:15 p.m.

The driver was unable to see a small child in the center of the roadway and as a result the left front of the car struck the child.

Both the child and the sedan came to rest in the roadway. FHP officials stated the child was transported via Medical Air Transport and is in stable condition.
