The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Coy Mixon on sexual battery charges.
A former employee of the City of Noma filed a complaint against Mixon, alleging that he inappropriately touched her. During the investigation, the victim provided audio recordings related to the incident.
The case was presented to the State Attorney’s Office, which reviewed the evidence and approved the charge of one count of sexual battery and one count of battery.
The case remains under investigation.
