Four teams from Bethlehem High School (BHS) competed at the Aerial Drone Competition hosted by North Bay Haven Charter Academy on Thursday, October 9. The event was held in partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Gaetz Aerospace Institute, and the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium, bringing together teams from 15 schools across five Panhandle counties.

BHS English and Aerospace Instructor David Williams led two high school teams, while BHS Science Teacher Kaycee Valcourt brought two middle school teams to represent Bethlehem.

The high school teams earned first and second place in the Teamwork Mission, third place in the Pilot Skills Mission, second place in the Autonomous Skills Mission, and second place overall.

Bethlehem middle school competitors achieved first place in the Teamwork Mission, first and third place in the Pilot Skills Mission, first and second place in the Autonomous Skills Mission, and first place overall.
