HOLMES COUNTY – Sheriff John Tate hosted a back pack giveaway on Friday July 30 at the Emergency Management building in Bonifay and the HCSO Substation in Ponce de Leon. With Holmes County School Board supplying all school supplies for students this upcoming school year, Tate wanted to help ease some of the burden for parents as well. “We wanted to add to the school board’s efforts and help make this school year a great one,” said Tate.
