A Panama City man is in custody after using social media to solicit sex from a minor.
Holmes County Sheriff’s Office Investigators working in an undercover capacity through a covert social media account posing as a 15-year-old female was contacted by Christopher William Glass, of Panama City on March 3.
According to HCSO, Glass initiated the conversation and began to solicit the 15-year-old for sex. Investigators obtained Glass’s address and personal information and used those to obtain an arrest warrant for using a computer to solicit a minor for sex.
Glass was arrested in Panama City by the U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force and will be extradited back to Holmes County to face charges.
