Holmes County Sheriff's Office was investigating the death of a two-year-old girl in the Prosperity community Tuesday afternoon. [JENNIFER RICH | THE NEWS AND ADVERTISER]
Investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating the late afternoon death of a young child on Highway 81 in the Prosperity community.
This investigation is in the very early stages.
HCSO held a press conference Wednesday afternoon announcing charges against the toddler’s parents. Check back for our full story.
