The qualifying period for the 2025 Esto Town Council Election closed Friday, September 5 at 1:00 PM. Three residents qualified unopposed for the open council seats:
· Seat 3: Heather Huckaby
· Seat 4: Joshua Davenport
· Seat 5: Donna Davis
No candidates qualified for Seat 1, which is currently held by appointed Council Member Phyllis Reif. The Town Council will determine how this seat will be filled in accordance with the Town Charter and applicable Florida statutes.
Because each qualified candidate is unopposed, there will be no election held on Monday, December 1, 2025. In accordance with Florida election law, the unopposed candidates will automatically assume office at the start of the new council term in January 2026.
The town of Esto thanks residents for their interest in the town’s government and congratulates the incoming council members for their dedication to the community.
