By Staff ReportEmma-Lei Helms, of Bonifay, has been recognized for academic excellence by being named to the Dean’s List for the Summer 2025 semester at Wallace Community College.
To earn a spot on the Dean’s List, students must complete at least 12 semester hours of college-level coursework while maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Wallace Community College–Dothan, a member of the Alabama Community College System, is the state’s largest public higher education system. With campuses in Dothan and Eufaula, the college offers a wide range of programs, including academic transfer, health sciences, technical education, workforce development, adult education, and dual enrollment for high school students.
Founded in 1949, Wallace Community College celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2024 and continues to play a central role in preparing students for higher education and career success.
