On Friday, December 5, Holmes County 4‑H members gathered to showcase their talents in the annual Holmes County 4-H Public Speaking Contest. Families and community members enjoyed listening as students delivered their prepared speeches with confidence and skill. The event, made possible through partnership with Florida Power & Light (FPL), was hosted at the new UF/IFAS Extension Office and Ag Center in Bonifay. The first place winners from each grade level will have the opportunity to present their speeches again at an upcoming Holmes County Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
