The Holmes County Chamber of Commerce hosted its monthly luncheon Thursday, May 28, bringing together community leaders, business professionals and local organizations for an afternoon focused on service, growth and community partnerships.

One of the highlights of the luncheon was the check presentations made by the Trailblazer Pageant queens. The queens presented a $1,000 donation to the Bonifay Police Department and a $250 donation to Bonifay K-8 School. The donations were made as part of the pageant’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community and support local organizations.

During the luncheon, the Chamber also announced the hiring of Andriana “Andi” Delorme as its new executive director. Delorme, a Florida native who has lived in Holmes County for the past three years, brings experience in management and organizational development to the position. In a social media post, the Chamber describes Delorme as having a “passion for helping others succeed while preserving the values that make local businesses and communities unique.” Chamber members welcomed her into the leadership role as the organization continues working to support local businesses and strengthen community involvement across Holmes County.

Anderson explained how those improvements are helping the hospital expand services and provide higher-quality care closer to home for area residents. He emphasized the importance of keeping modern healthcare accessible within the local community, and he noted that investments in updated technology allow Doctors Memorial Hospital to better meet the needs of patients both from Holmes County and the surrounding areas.

The luncheon served as both a celebration of community partnerships and a look ahead at continued growth and progress within Holmes County.
