Holmes County senior pitcher Bradley Garrett has been named the Florida Dairy Farmers Rural Player of the Year, a distinction awarded annually to one standout player in each classification across the state.
Garrett, who has signed with Northwest Florida State College, played a pivotal role in leading the Blue Devils to the Class 1A state championship. He threw a complete-game performance in the state final, capping off a dominant senior season on the mound and at the plate.
Garrett posted a 1.15 ERA with 105 strikeouts and also contributed offensively with a .432 batting average, 29 runs scored, and 28 RBIs. As a classification honoree, he is now a candidate for the coveted Florida Mr. Baseball title.
