HDSB honors students with perfect state assessment scores

The Holmes District School Board recognized students who achieved perfect scores on the Spring 2025 state assessments during Tuesday night’s meeting. Honorees included Easton Johnson, Grade 5 Mathematics, and Jylian Sallas, Grade 8 Science, who were each presented with certificates of achievement from the district and the Florida Commissioner of Education.

The Holmes District School Board recognized outstanding academic achievement during its meeting Tuesday evening, honoring students who earned perfect scores on the Spring 2025 Florida state assessments.

In recognition of this accomplishment, each student received a certificate of achievement from the district, along with a congratulatory letter and certificate from the Florida Commissioner of Education.

Those honored included:

  • Jylian Sallas – Grade 8 Science
  • Easton Johnson – Grade 5 Mathematics

Not pictured but also recognized were:

  • Mennika Coronel – Grade 8 Mathematics
  • Makayla Hewett – U.S. History

District officials praised the students for their dedication and excellence, noting that such achievements reflect not only individual commitment but also the strong support of families, teachers, and schools.
