FDOT to host beautification grant program workshop


The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a Florida Beautification Grant Program workshop for local governments and community development organizations.

The workshop will begin at 10 a.m. on July 12 at the FDOT Ponce De Leon Operations Center located at 1723 Sunrise Circle in Ponce De Leon.

The FDOT Grant Program, is a grant with a recommended match that will pay for landscaping along state right of ways. FDOT allows qualified agencies to apply for this annual beautification grant to enhance the attractiveness of roads on the State Transportation System. Applications for this year’s grant are due Saturday, October 1.
