The Town of Esto announced the water is now fully safe to drink and use in the community as of Thursday, Feb. 1, following a precautionary boil water notice.
The boil notice was issued Jan. 22 due to a loss of pressure in the area’s water wells.
“Following the resolution of the issue and testing conducted by Esto Water Works, all microbial samples taken from across the water system have tested negative for dangerous pathogens,” Town Clerk Ben Tew said in a news release.
Tew further said they “appreciate the patience and cooperation of our residents and businesses during this time.”
“The water quality in Esto meets all regulatory standards, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community,” Tew said.
