Holmes County invites residents to community resilience conversation

Residents are invited to join the Holmes County Board of County Commissioners on November 4 at 4 p.m. at 107 E. Virginia Avenue in Bonifay for a Community Resilience Conversation to share ideas and strengthen the county’s preparedness for future storms and flooding.

The Holmes County Board of County Commissioners is inviting residents to take part in an important community discussion on local resilience and storm preparedness.

The Community Resilience Conversations meeting will be held Monday, November 4, at 4 p.m.at107 E. Virginia Avenue in Bonifay, Florida. The event is part of the county’s effort to develop a resilience plan that addresses increasing challenges such as flooding, storm threats, and other local environmental concerns.

Organizers say the meeting is designed to give citizens a voice in shaping the county’s long-term strategies for protecting infrastructure and improving emergency readiness. Attendees will have the opportunity to share experiences, suggest ideas, and help identify priorities that matter most to their communities.

Residents are encouraged to attend, fill out surveys, and bring any relevant local knowledge, photos, or maps that could help inform the county’s planning efforts. Refreshments will be providedfor all attendees.
