Burglary suspect arrested after stolen property recovered on Gavin Road

Campagna, Rudolph

A Holmes County man is facing multiple charges after deputies recovered stolen property and discovered drug paraphernalia during an investigation on November 26, according to a release from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a residence on Gavin Road after a homeowner reported that two batteries had been taken from his camper. During the course of the investigation, deputies made contact with the suspect, identified as Rudolph Campagna, at his residence.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Campagna initially denied any involvement in the theft. However, he later admitted to taking the batteries and turned the stolen property over to deputies.

While speaking with Campagna, deputies also observed drug paraphernalia in plain view—items commonly associated with the ingestion of methamphetamine. Campagna was subsequently taken into custody.

He is charged with burglary, theft, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The case remains under investigation by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office.
