According to a release from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, an Alabama man is facing charges in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle reported earlier this week.
On January 7, Holmes County deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from the Noma area. During the investigation, the vehicle was later located abandoned in Hartford, Alabama, by officers with the Hartford Police Department.
Investigators determined that Jerry Mann, of Hartford, Alabama, allegedly stole the truck from Noma and drove it across state lines to Hartford. Mann was taken into custody in Hartford on outstanding warrants.
