The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Terron Patrick following an investigation into allegations of grand theft and contracting without a license.
According to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, investigators were contacted in October 2025 by a homeowner who reported paying Patrick more than $40,000 to repair tornado-related damage to his residence. Authorities say Patrick accepted the payment but failed to perform the agreed-upon work and subsequently ceased communication with the homeowner.
During the course of the investigation, deputies determined that Patrick did not hold a valid contractor’s license to legally perform the repairs, as required under Florida law.
Based on the findings, investigators obtained arrest warrants. Patrick was taken into custody on Jan. 7, 2026, and charged with grand theft and contracting without a license.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be pending, according to the sheriff’s office.
