Sheriff John Tate and the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office hosted the annual Veterans Day dinner on Thursday at New Smyrna Assembly of God.
Sheriff Tate says the event is a small way to thank the community’s veterans for their service to the country.
“We do this every year to show our appreciation to those who served our nation,” said Sheriff Tate. “We would like to thank New Smyrna, Holmes County JROTC, and the HCSO Ladies’ Auxiliary for helping make this dinner a success.”
